Sony has released its first premium speaker dock for the iPad. The RDP-X500IP comes with Magnetic Fluid speakers that is claimed by Sony to produce higher sound pressure with less distortion than traditional speakers. It also comes with a built-in subwoofer and the speaker dock enables battery charging and music/movie playback without needing an adaptor.

There’s also a free app for this iPad speaker dock called the D-Sappli where it allows you to play music at a desired time.
